Our Kawakawa & Mānuka Topical Cream is based on the healing and restorative properties of native New Zealand tree species, Kawakawa and Mānuka. It is a light, soft and readily absorbable topical cream, made with the rich moisturising properties of African Shea butter and infused with the aromas of pure Pacific Blue Lavender from the South Island.
Used topically, Kawakawa has antimicrobial, antispasmodic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and circulatory properties and functions. Extensively used in rongoā preparations for its medicinal properties. It is known to help with eczema, gardening rashes, sores, bites, infections, bruising, stings and rashes.
Mānuka oil has incredibly high levels of antibacterial, antifungal, anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory activity. Research is now showing its effectiveness against a range of harmful bacteria, fungi and microorganisms. It has practical applications with chicken pox, cold sores, acne, eczema, blisters, insect bites and warts, among many other skin issues.
Application: Apply a small amount to the affected area by spreading lightly across the surface of the skin. It will be easily absorbed so it doesn't need to be firmly rubbed in.
